At ModelCon EagleQuest we welcome all models of every genre, size, scale and era. If you glue or snap it together and/or paint it - it is welcome here!
We offer THREE ways to enter models into ModelCon
Display Only
Our display only models are displayed alongside the rest of the models in the contest, but you don't have to worry about judges examining your model deciding if it is worthy of a trophy. Our display only entries are truly for fun and also educational purposes. The best way to become a better modeler is to show your models to other modelers and share tips and tricks back and forth and there is no better place to do that than at a model show. If competing in a model contest is not for you - we invite you to bring your models to ModelCon and enter them as Display Only. Display Only is FREE of Charge - only pay your day pass entry fee and you can display your model for free.
Model Contest
At the heart of ModelCon EagleQuest you will find our scale model contest where modelers from all over come to compete in our Gold / Silver / Bronze model contest for a chance to test their skills against our criteria based points system.

In addition to the Gold / Silver / Bronze awards, modelers will also compete for Best In Class AND best in Category awards available to the best score overall in each category and then also for the coveted Best in Show which goes to the highest scoring model regardless of category.

Bring your best work and prepare to have a great time as the ModelCon EagleQuest awards ceremony surprises, awards, inspires, and carries on the wonderful tradition of scale model building competition!
Master Class Competition
The Master Class Competition comes straight from the traditional EagleQuest and MasterCon format in that it is a popular vote based contest. Models that have won Best of Show or Equivalent Accolades in Show Category or Class are welcome to compete in the Master Class. The Highest Accolades / Awards at past shows that are otherwise "retired" from competition are encouraged to enter this category. In addition to models that have won at the top level, we also invite modelers who have "retired" from competition due either to contest rules or personal choice - we would like to invite you to compete in our Master Class.

How do we judge a master model? We don't.... we let the modelers decide! All competitors in the standard contest are given a ballet to choose their favorite Master Model. This way, the models are voted on by other modelers. The model with the most votes wins.

Manufacturers, Social Media Groups, Podcasts, Guest Speakers and More
This year's Exhibitor's Showcase is not where you will find items to purchase, but rather a place to have the opportunity to meet with manufacturers, modeling groups, podcast and more in person. See the latest product releases and find out the best way to stay connected to the modeling community.
